WELCOME!!!

I can’t tell you how excited I am to be sharing this journey with you! Hi! I am Terry Bean, most people call me by my full name! I guess it just flows off the tongue. Children, especially, love to say it in FULL, and it makes me smile when they do! I want to welcome you back to a world where you felt that anything was possible.

ABRA*CA*DABRA was written to help children understand the power within them to create lives that they love living.  Many of us grownups end up (close to 80%) stuck in a job, in a life that we do not recognize, and we end up miserable and bitter at the end. Regretting what we did NOT do with the time we had.  My vision is to start early by giving children tools they can use to help create a life they love as they grow up. By helping our children do this, they most likely will be kinder adults, more connected to themselves and others around them. Right now, more than ever, we need to foster a kinder world.

ABRA*CA*DABRA written 11 years ago.  I always knew that it would be published, it was just a matter of time. When I reached out to my FB world Nov of 2024 for an illustrator, I got so slammed with all the notifications, that I felt completely overwhelmed, and shut it down. In March of 2025 when I was on my journey with Mind Valley to become a Certified Life Coach, I decided it was time, and I reached out to FIVERR, to find a good fit for an illustrator.  FIVERR is where you reach out to particular freelancers in your genre, and decide whether to collaborate. I chose a woman by the name of Ronda and set up a Zoom meeting. When Ronda brought on Junayed, I was taken back and a bit skeptical.  After speaking with them for a bit,  I figured, what can hurt? Kind of a two-for-one here, let’s give them a shot. There they were, two students working together with www.kidsbookart.com.  So I gave them my vision for the cover of my book and the storyline.  The book cover you see IS the one they came up with.  I was almost in tears when I saw the sketch and then the watercolor! Ronda stepped away due to health reasons, and it was J (I like to call him) and I. I said to J that I had a deadline in mind and gave him a month (July 2025) to produce 15 sketches. J’s passion for this project comes off the page. We laughed and cried together and I truly hope you feel that as you read my words and view our interpretation in the illustrations. You will hear from J in a video soon.
